How can we stay healthier and live longer?

Preventing, diagnosing early, and effective treatment of these conditions will go a long way in extending functional lives. And so, in addition to new techniques, regularly receiving Integrated Ali’s physical treatment and Ali’s health protocol, diligence about one’s health, exercising, sleeping enough, and eating well still count for a lot when it comes to longevity.

A substantial body of evidence shows the importance of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) biosynthesis and its regulation in a wide range of cellular metabolism. The expression of nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) is regulated in a circadian manner by the core clock mechanism and NAD+-dependent sirtuins, producing the circadian oscillation of NAD+. The hypothalamus is a critical center for the homeostatic regulation of metabolism, circadian rhythm, and age-associated physiology. The dysfunction of systemic NAD+ biosynthesis over age affects the functions of hypothalamic neurons, causing age-associated metabolic pathophysiologies, including obesity and age-associated diseases. These recent studies suggest that NAD+ oscillation contributes to the hypothalamic function, and its disruption produces circadian and aging-related metabolic disorders. Furthermore, new studies have demonstrated a novel inter-tissue NAD+-dependent communication as a potential target for preventing and treating such disorders and for extending the health span of humans.

Massaging the neck area improves blood supply to vital parts of the brain that control functions as varied as the immune system, NAD+, hormones, appetite, longevity, the digestive system, respiration, temperature control, sexual function, gait, posture, and reproduction. I reached the logical conclusion that optimizing the blood flow to these nerve or control centers rectifies damage in the body and leads to healing and well-being. Time after time, my success in treating ailments with neck and shoulder massage, yoga, and gentle manipulation has proved my hypothesis correct.

Therapeutic Neck Massage

As part of a longevity plan, this neck and shoulder massage helps to improve pituitary-hypothalamic functions. The effect of this is to reduce cravings, improve thyroid functions, and increase longevity. It can also help to eradicate fluid retention. This massage sequence is a great reliever of tension. This release of tension will make you feel very relaxed, and with the blood and the cerebrospinal fluid circulation to the brain increased, a 30-minute weekly neck treatment will help to regulate NAD+ and its function through the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus is a region of the brain that plays a critical role in the neuroendocrine regulation of metabolic processes and the homeostatic control of the autonomic nervous system. The hypothalamus contains several small subregions called nuclei, and each nucleus has specific functions, including the regulation of body temperature, energy intake, body fluid homeostasis, sleep, reproduction, and circadian rhythms. For these hypothalamic functions, sirtuins, an evolutionarily conserved family of NAD+-dependent protein deacetylases/deacylases, have been demonstrated to be an important regulator and also a critical link to NAD+ metabolism.

My Neck Treatments

My neck treatment helps to keep all the vital centre functional at an optimal level. They are able to sustain the energy level, maintain balance and coordination of gait, digestion better, prevent dizziness, severe insomnia, neck stiffness, tinnitus, blurred vision, tremor in the hands and vision deterioration.

A lady in 80s had Muscular Degeneration with reduced central vision. She had fatigue, dizziness and imbalance. The neck treatment improved Blood Flow to the Optic Nerve and improved her vision such that she could see faint figures on the TV. She can now walk better without feeling dizziness and energy is lot better.

Baby Massage

All babies who are massaged regularly are healthier for it.
Massaging is healing and improves circulation, which means better nourishment for your baby’s body and brain. It is also a perfect way to make your child feel loved, pampered and cared for.

Massage also has other advantages:
• Babies who are massaged regularly develop well and the milestones that are usually used to measure this development (crawling, sitting, etc.) tend to appear slightly earlier than predicted in childcare books.
• Babies have fewer colds and coughs, as massaging stimulates their immune system.
• They also sleep much better during the day and certainly at night.

There is no special technique to massaging your baby, but here’s how the dais, or midwives, would go about it in a traditional Indian home:
They would begin to massage the baby once it was five days old. They would massage the neck, back, arms and legs with a little oil, toning up the muscles. In winter they would use a ‘warming’ mustard oil diluted with sesame, and during the summer a lighter coconut oil.
After six months, they would gently include the head, ears and jaw. The baby would then be put in the sun for up to half an hour.
